Reward recognised in The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work’ for the third year running
Reward Funding, the original alternative finance provider, has been named in The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2026’ medium organisations category for the third consecutive year.
Reward has been recognised among a leading group of organisations, with over 70,000 businesses entering the awards in 2025. The results are decided following an extensive analysis of companies across 26 industries. The accreditation recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding employee engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture.
With five regional offices across the UK, from Scotland all the way to London, Reward’s recognition by The Sunday Times highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to building a high-performing culture that supports development, collaboration and long-term career growth.
Over the last 12 months, Reward has expanded its Empowering Leaders programme, which aids in helping managers build stronger leadership, communication and people management skills. The business is also working towards launching a framework to guide the People Leaders on their management career, ensuring Reward’s culture continues to scale alongside the growth of the business.
Reward has also continued investing in internal systems and operational improvements designed to streamline processes, improve collaboration and support future growth. Ensuring people remain at the forefront of the business, internal initiatives such as ‘talking lunches’ with Reward’s CEO, Nick Smith, held across all offices, and monthly drop-in sessions create an open and welcoming space for employees to provide feedback and propose topics for discussion. The monthly HR newsletter also includes ‘get to know you’ updates for the team.
Commenting on the award win, Nick Smith, CEO of Reward Funding said: “To receive this recognition for a third consecutive year is a fantastic achievement for the entire Reward Team and their commitment to creating an outstanding culture within the business.”
“The relationships both within the Reward Team and externally with our brokers and clients is something we are incredibly proud of. The people are what make Reward a truly great place to work. As we continue to grow nationally, maintaining that culture and continuing to invest in our people remains a major priority.”
