Supports cancer patients under 22, and their families, in East London and Essex.
The Michael Charles Adams MBE Memorial Trust (MCA Trust) was established in 2011 in memory of Michael ‘Micky’ Adams, who received an MBE for his work with young people and later died after a short battle with a brain tumour.
We support children and young people with cancer, and their families, across East London and Essex. Working with local NHS Trusts, we fund equipment and ward improvements, provide practical and emotional support, arrange respite and experiences, and run an education scheme so children who have missed school through treatment can catch up.
